As Culinary Director at Curtis Creek Senior Living, I approach each day with passion—not just purpose. I face new challenges, hear heartfelt stories, and find fresh reasons to feel grateful. I’m excited to share how I arrived in this role, what drives my dedication, and what a typical day looks like in our community. My work goes beyond preparing meals—it’s about building connections and making a real difference.

I stepped into this role when the previous Director moved on. At the time, I served as Sous Chef and was ready to grow. I’ve always focused on creating the best possible dining experience for our residents.
My background includes serving as a head chef in restaurants and working in other retirement communities. These roles helped sharpen my skills, but the support from Arrow’s regional team made the biggest difference in my leadership journey.
What I enjoy most about senior living is the residents. Even though I see the same faces each day, there’s always something new—a story, a smile, or a shared moment that makes the day special.
Each morning, I check in with my team to make sure they’re set up for success. This helps us deliver a smooth, enjoyable dining experience for every resident.
If you’re considering a culinary career in senior living, my advice is to learn your residents’ preferences. Their tastes often differ from what you’re used to, and understanding those details is key.
To me, success means residents are happy, healthy, and well-fed. That’s the goal I work toward every day.
At the end of each day, I take pride in knowing I’ve contributed something meaningful. Whether it’s preparing a favorite dish, sharing a conversation, or offering a comforting moment—I’m grateful to serve at your table. Thank you for welcoming me into your community. I am truly honored.
